These Cowboy Sliders are a hearty and flavorful twist on traditional sliders, packed with savory beef, crispy bacon, spicy jalapeños, and gooey cheese, all nestled in soft Hawaiian rolls and brushed with a delectable cowboy butter.

Slider Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 recipe cowboy butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray a 7×11 baking dish. Cook onion and garlic in oil for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Cook Beef Mixture: Add ground beef and seasonings to the pan. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until beef is cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Split Hawaiian rolls and place the bottoms in the baking dish. Brush with cowboy butter. Layer beef mixture, jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese, and crispy onions. Top with the other halves of the rolls.
  4. Bake: Brush the tops of the sliders with more cowboy butter. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  5. Serve: Serve the Cowboy Sliders hot, with extra cowboy butter on the side for dipping.
