Ingredients

Scale

Egg Mixture

  • 8 large eggs
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Bacon Layer

  • 1 lb bacon

Cheese

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Rolls & Topping

  • 1 (12-oz) package Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp ranch dressing mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Dish: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray to ensure the sliders won’t stick while baking.
  2. Make the Egg Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the 8 large eggs, ¼ cup heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper to taste until fully combined and slightly frothy for fluffy scrambled eggs.
  3. Cook Scrambled Eggs: Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, gently stirring occasionally, until the eggs are softly scrambled and fully cooked. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Cook Bacon: In the same skillet, cook 1 pound of bacon over medium-high heat until crispy. Once cooked, transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease. Cut each bacon slice into 4 pieces and set aside.
  5. Prepare Rolls: Without separating the Hawaiian rolls, cut the entire loaf horizontally in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared 9×13-inch baking dish as a base.
  6. Assemble Sliders: Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. Evenly layer the scrambled eggs on top of the cheese, followed by the cut bacon pieces. Then, sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese over the bacon. Finally, place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls over everything.
  7. Brush with Ranch Butter: In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons melted butter and 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix until well combined. Brush this flavorful ranch butter evenly over the tops of the rolls to add seasoning and help create a golden crust.
  8. Bake the Sliders: Bake the assembled sliders in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese has melted, the tops are golden, and the sliders are warmed through. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute cheddar cheese with pepper jack or mozzarella for a different flavor profile.
  • For a spicier alternative, add sliced jalapeños between layers or mix hot sauce into the eggs.
  • Make sure not to overcook the scrambled eggs initially, as they will cook further when baked.
  • These sliders can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking to save time in the morning.
  • If ranch dressing mix is unavailable, use a blend of dried herbs (dill, parsley), garlic powder, and onion powder as a substitute.
