Chicken:

Sauce:

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth

Additions:

  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Spray Slow Cooker: Spray your slow cooker with olive oil.
  2. Add Chicken: Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom.
  3. Season and Add Liquids: Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, red chili flakes, and chicken broth.
  4. Cook: Cook on LOW for 4 hours until chicken is done.
  5. Shred Chicken: Remove chicken, shred, and return to slow cooker.
  6. Add Remaining Ingredients: Add tortellini, mozzarella, cream, and ensure tortellini are covered in liquid.
