Ingredients

Scale

For the Skewers

  • 1 pound Sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil, for marinating
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Steak: In a large bowl, combine the cubed sirloin steak with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Shrimp: In another bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, lemon juice, and salt.
  4. Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two. Pre-soak wooden skewers if using.
  5. Grill the Skewers: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for 3-4 minutes per side until steak is cooked to desired doneness and shrimp are pink.
  6. Serve: Remove skewers from the grill and drizzle with garlic butter sauce before serving.
