  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1⁄2 cup red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1⁄2 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1⁄4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1⁄4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Macaroni: Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water, then set aside.
  2. Prepare the Dressing: In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooled macaroni to the dressing and stir gently to coat evenly. Mix in red bell pepper, celery, green onions, sweet pickle relish, and hard-boiled egg if using.
  4. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and add more salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
