  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Garnish:

  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flaky sea salt, optional
  • Vanilla ice cream, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Apple Filling: Lightly grease a 12-inch cast iron skillet or a 9×13-inch baking dish. Toss apples with lemon juice. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice. Coat apples with this mixture and transfer to the baking dish.
