Dry Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Almond Flour
  • ½ Cup Coconut Flour
  • 1½ tsp Aiya Culinary Grade Matcha
  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds

Wet Ingredients

  • ⅓ Cup Honey
  • ½ Cup Natural Nut Butter

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, add almond flour, coconut flour, matcha powder, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. Mix well until evenly combined.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients and Form Dough: Mix in the natural nut butter and honey to the dry mixture. Stir until a dough starts to form and the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Shape into Bites: Using your hands, scoop and roll the dough into small bite-sized balls. Place them on a parchment-lined sheet tray to prepare for chilling.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the tray with the energy bites for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
  5. Storage: Store any leftover energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days to maintain freshness.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, substitute honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
  • You can use any natural nut butter such as almond, peanut, or cashew butter according to your preference.
  • If dough is too sticky, add a little extra almond or coconut flour to make shaping easier.
  • These bites make a great pre- or post-workout snack for sustained energy.
  • Ensure to use culinary grade matcha for best flavor and health benefits.
