  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Peaches:

  • 56 peaches, cut into 8 wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Maple Butter:

  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and melt in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the batter: Combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, milk, and vanilla. Mix until just combined.
  3. Prepare the peaches: Toss peaches with 1/4 cup brown sugar and maple syrup in a bowl.
  4. Assemble the cobbler: Layer half of the peaches over the melted butter. Pour the batter over without stirring. Add the remaining peaches on top. Bake for 50-55 minutes until set.
