Batter:
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter, cubed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Peaches:
- 5–6 peaches, cut into 8 wedges
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Maple Butter:
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and melt in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare the batter: Combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, milk, and vanilla. Mix until just combined.
- Prepare the peaches: Toss peaches with 1/4 cup brown sugar and maple syrup in a bowl.
