Pretzel Crust
- 2½ cups crushed pretzels
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ¾ cup butter, melted
Cream Cheese Filling
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounce cool whip
Pineapple Topping
- 21 ounce can pineapple pie filling
- 15 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained and squeeze the liquid out well
- For the Pretzel Crust – Preheat the oven to 375°. Crush pretzels, mix with vanilla, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter. Press into baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
- For the Cream Cheese Filling – Beat cream cheese until smooth, add powdered sugar and cool whip. Spread over cooled crust.
- For the Pineapple Topping – Top with pineapple pie filling, crushed pineapple, and remaining pretzel mixture. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Notes
- Make sure to drain the crushed pineapple well to avoid excess liquid in the salad.
