These Sugar Cookie Truffles are a delightful treat that combines the flavors of sugar cookies and cream cheese, coated in vanilla melting wafers and festive sprinkles. Perfect for holiday gatherings or as a sweet indulgence any time of the year.

Ingredients

Scale

Sugar Cookie Truffles:

  • 2 cups crushed sugar cookies (about 1012 sugar cookies)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 bag (10 oz) vanilla flavored melting wafers
  • Red & green sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sugar Cookie Mixture: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or tin foil. Crush sugar cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by hand. Mix the crumbs with softened cream cheese until well combined.
  2. Form Truffle Balls: Roll the cookie mixture into small balls and place on the prepared sheet. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  3. Coat the Truffles: Melt the vanilla wafers and dip each truffle into the coating. Drizzle with extra melted wafers, sprinkle with colored sprinkles, and chill before serving.

Notes

  • If you don’t have a food processor, place the cookies in a Ziploc bag and crush with a heavy object.
  • Use a toothpick to help transfer the truffles for coating.
  • Store truffles in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
